7.Vegan t-shirts and stickers and other display items (I thought of this cos I've ordered two tee shirts with provocative messages, i think they will be a powerful mode of activism. Spread the Vegan message as you do your daily stuff. No extra energy, time, or effort)
What else?
8. Cyber-activism:
a.- Posting on forums/discussion boards, blogs, or even youtube (

)
b.- starting our own blogs/websites where you can discuss several matters related to Veganism/Animal Rights, post recipes and/or health advice for vegans (or those considering Veganism), etc. - it is a good way to reach people you wouldn't have reached otherwise (many people begin their journey towards Veganism by surfing the net) and at the same time provide to support to already-vegans
c.- Although I don't have one, I've heard that Facebook is a great tool to promote veganism (or anything, for that matter) and to create networks
d.- writing e-mails (conventional letters also) could be helpful in some cases, such as urging a company to stop testing their products on other animals (if they get sufficient e-mails, and feel that their pockets are threatened, they will do something), to have more vegan options in their restaurants/cafeteria/etc., to use non-animal ingredients instead of animal ingredients (like asking certain brand to use vitamin D2 instead of D3), etc.
e.-and finally, never over-estimate the power of a thought-provoking line in your e-mail signature, your nickname at your msn account, or your display picture. Some people have approached me and started really interesting conversations just because of these.
Besides all of this, another option is, for those of us who are studying a formal career (or even those at school), to take the subject to our classes -there is always an excuse to introduce it.
Like Alex's art project, or Edo's video she made for a class at her school, etc.
My girlfriend studies "Social Work" (at least that's the literal translation from Spanish) and she (along with a couple of classmates) had to do her semester-project about some social movement; of course, she chose the Vegan movement. And her teacher just loved it. She (teacher) even talks about Speciesism in her classes now!
I've helped her with her projects, finishing the last one yesterday; showing the campaign designed to promote the movement elected. She did a little presentation (with pictures/posters, a video, and food for the class) and they will advertise the campaign through the campus now.
She said it was a succes! (although we're still waiting to see if any of her classmates or teachers actually goes Vegan!!)
For those working with organizations, getting interviewed is another way of doing activism. Besides the fact that you will get some attention by the interview itself, be it in a magazine, newspaper, tv-station, college class, etc., you also have a good chance to talk deeply with the ones doing the interview themselves! The best way to do this, in my experience, is by, either choosing a Vegan place (Restaurant, shop, etc.) to do the interview, or invite them to one after the interview. This way you get to talk in a more informal and relaxed way, go into some topics you couldn't get into (or as deep as you wanted) because of the length of the interview, and try some Vegan food.
Another thing we've been considering with our group, is to put some ads on the metro-stations. You have to pay, but if you have some money, and a good design and message, it could be a great way of getting the message out there.
My brain is tired already. If I think about something else, I'll get back to this. Anybody has something to add?
Got it!
9.- Art: of any kind. As a way of communication, I think it is really powerful. I'm a musician, and although the projects I'm involved with these days are not Vegan-related, I'm seriously considering starting one (or, at least, writing some songs for these bands - although it would seem hypocritical for my bandmates to play them if they are not vegan!

)
So, people, let's rock it!
