It's absurd not to illegally copy material because so many others do it? Using that logic, it's also absurd not to eat animal products!
I believe that anyone who makes /produces something and offers it for sale is entitled to be paid for their work.
I really don't see what's so hard to grasp.
And I don't illegally copy music or movies from the web (or anywhere else). I can rent or buy DVDs and CDs and I can buy music via itunes.
I like feeling that I pay my way and am not ripping anyone off.
