I have seen how these comments can turn on a dime...I always appreciate it when there are some pro-animal voices in the comments. I posted some; maybe others would be inclined to do the same.

Also posting a comment, sharing, and sending the link around helps the editors see that animal topics are popular and make them more interested in similar pieces in the future. MILLIONS of people read The Huffington Post daily.

And bravo Shaun for getting something like this into the mainstream. Hopefully they'll make him a regular writer.

Ha! You little sneak. You're going to make me sound redundant. I just posted something similar to your reply, but yours showed up first. Nice work on pointing out the logical fallacy. I should have known that someone with a screen name like yours would be able to pull those out.

I realized all comments are sanitized, I mean, moderated, so they don't always appear in a timely or orderly fashion. Just FYI.
